A garden hose engineered for daily outdoor use
The MASCO Garden Hose is built for the way Indian gardens are actually watered — dragged across gravel paths, wound around taps, left in the sun, and reused season after season. Its three-ply construction sandwiches a polyester braid between two layers of flexible PVC, so it resists kinking under pressure, holds its shape when pulled tight around corners, and does not collapse when the tap is throttled.
Lengths and finishes
The hose ships in 10, 15, 20 and 30 metre coils, in green and blue, individually tagged so it can be sold across the counter in a nursery or a hardware store. Each coil is wound and strapped for compact shipping so it slots easily onto a shelf or into a display bin.
Where it works well
Home gardens, terrace planters and small farms are the primary users, along with nurseries that need a hose that survives constant dragging across paved paths. Car-wash bays and workshops appreciate the anti-kink braid, which means the flow does not choke while the operator moves around the vehicle. Because the outer coat is UV-stabilised, coils left mounted on outdoor reels do not crack in the summer sun.
Water flow and pressure
The reinforced construction handles standard municipal supply pressure without ballooning, and the smooth internal bore keeps flow high even at longer lengths. The hose accepts standard 3/4 inch tap adaptors, spray guns, sprinkler heads and quick-connect fittings widely available in Indian hardware stores.
